Press the Upgrade plan button next to the plan you want to switch to. A plan comparison summary is shown for confirmation.
- 3Complete checkout via Stripe
You are redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm. Stripe handles all payment processing securely — WorkWiz never stores your full card number.
- 4You're upgraded — new features unlock immediately
After a successful payment, you are redirected back to WorkWiz. Your new plan is active and all associated features and limits are updated without needing to refresh or sign out.
Managing your subscription
WorkWiz uses Stripe as its billing provider. All subscription management is handled through the Stripe billing portal, which you can access directly from Settings → Billing.
From the Stripe billing portal you can:
- Update or replace your payment method (credit / debit card).
- Switch between monthly and annual billing cycles. The price difference is prorated automatically.
- Download PDF invoices for any past payment — useful for expense reimbursement or accounting.
- View upcoming invoice amounts and renewal dates.
- Cancel your subscription (see below).
Feature gates and plan limits
Plan limits are enforced at every creation action — creating a project, a task, or inviting a team member. The limits are checked server-side, so they cannot be bypassed from the client. If you downgrade to a lower plan and already exceed that plan's limits, your existing data is preserved but you will be unable to create new items until your usage drops below the threshold.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your paid plan features until then.
After the billing period ends, your workspace automatically reverts to the FREE plan. This means:
- Your project and task counts are capped at the Free plan limits. All existing data above the limit remains visible in read-only mode.
- AI Co-pilot access is reduced to the limited Free tier quota.
- Team members beyond the Free seat limit lose access to the workspace. You will be prompted to choose which members to retain before the downgrade takes effect.
- No payment is charged after cancellation — your billing method on file is not touched.
You can resubscribe at any time and your full workspace — including all projects, tasks, and data created while on a paid plan — will be immediately accessible again.
