Integrations

Connect WorkWiz to the tools you already use — calendars, email, messaging, and more — so your work stays in sync without extra effort.

Google

Sync tasks with Google Calendar, capture action items from Gmail, and attach Drive files directly to tasks and projects.

Microsoft

Connect Outlook Calendar, Outlook Mail, and Microsoft Teams for unified scheduling and team notifications.

Slack

Receive WorkWiz notifications in Slack channels and get direct messages for task assignments and updates.

Webhooks

Send notifications to Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, or any custom endpoint via configurable webhook URLs.

Connecting an integration

All integrations use OAuth-based authorization — WorkWiz never stores your credentials directly. The connection flow is the same for every OAuth integration.

  • 1
    Go to Settings > Integrations

Open the sidebar, click Settings, then select the Integrations tab. You will see every available integration listed with its current connection status.

  • 2
Click "Connect" next to the service

Each integration card has a Connect button. Click it to begin the authorization flow for that service. Already connected integrations show a Disconnect button instead.

  • 3
    Complete the OAuth authorization flow

You will be redirected to the service's own login and consent screen (Google, Microsoft, Slack, etc.). Sign in with the account you want to connect if you are not already signed in.

  • 4
    Grant requested permissions

Review the list of permissions WorkWiz is requesting and click Allow or Authorize. WorkWiz only requests the minimum permissions required for the advertised features of each integration.

  • 5
Return to WorkWiz — integration is now active

You are redirected back to WorkWiz automatically. The integration card now shows a green connected indicator. The integration begins working immediately — no additional configuration is required unless you want to customize sync settings.

Google integrations

WorkWiz supports three Google services. Each is connected independently so you can enable only what you need.

Google Calendar

When connected, WorkWiz syncs your tasks as calendar events. Tasks with a due date appear as all-day events on the corresponding date. Tasks with a scheduled time appear as timed events. The sync is two-way — rescheduling a task in WorkWiz updates the calendar event, and changes made in Google Calendar are reflected back in WorkWiz.

Gmail

Connecting Gmail allows WorkWiz to read your inbox so the AI Co-pilot can identify action items in your emails and propose creating tasks from them. WorkWiz reads email metadata and content only to surface suggestions — emails are never stored on WorkWiz servers.

Google Drive

With Google Drive connected, you can attach Drive files directly to tasks and projects in WorkWiz. Click the attachment button inside a task detail view and browse your Drive without leaving the app. Attachments are stored as links — WorkWiz does not copy or host your files.

Microsoft integrations

WorkWiz integrates with the Microsoft 365 suite via a single OAuth connection to your Microsoft account. You can then enable individual services from the integration settings.

Outlook Calendar

Works the same as the Google Calendar integration — WorkWiz syncs tasks with due dates and scheduled times as calendar events in your Outlook Calendar. Changes in either direction are reflected across both systems.

Outlook Mail

Allows the AI Co-pilot to read your Outlook inbox and identify tasks, follow-ups, and action items in emails, proposing them as tasks for your review and approval before anything is created.

Microsoft Teams

Receive WorkWiz notifications directly in Microsoft Teams. Configure which types of notifications are sent to Teams — task assignments, due date reminders, project status changes — from Settings → Notifications.

Slack

The Slack integration connects WorkWiz to your Slack workspace so your team stays informed without switching between apps.

  • Channel notifications — post WorkWiz updates to any Slack channel. Choose which events trigger a notification: task created, task completed, project status change, proposal accepted, and more.
  • Direct messages — when a task is assigned to a team member, they receive a direct Slack message with the task name, project, priority, and due date so they are informed immediately.

Configure Slack notification preferences from Settings → Notifications → Slack after connecting the integration.

Notification webhooks

For services not covered by native integrations, WorkWiz supports outbound webhook notifications. Configure webhooks from Settings → Notifications.

TypeDescription
Discord webhookPaste a Discord channel webhook URL to receive WorkWiz notifications as formatted messages in any Discord server and channel you manage.
Telegram botConnect a Telegram bot token and chat ID to receive WorkWiz notifications as Telegram messages. Useful for personal alerting without a team chat platform.
Custom webhookProvide any HTTPS endpoint and WorkWiz will POST a JSON payload to that URL when configured events fire. Use this to connect WorkWiz to Zapier, Make, n8n, or any internal system.

Each webhook configuration lets you choose which event types trigger a notification — you can create separate webhooks for different event types if you want notifications routed to different destinations.

Use the Test button next to any configured webhook to send a sample payload and verify your endpoint is receiving events correctly before relying on it in production.

Managing tokens

Your integration tokens are encrypted at rest. WorkWiz uses AES-256-GCM encryption to store all OAuth tokens and webhook secrets. Tokens are never logged, never exposed in API responses, and are only decrypted at the moment they are needed to make a request on your behalf.

To disconnect an integration at any time, go to Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect next to the service. This immediately revokes WorkWiz's access and deletes the stored token from our database. You should also revoke access from the third-party service's own security settings to be thorough.

Coming soon

The following integrations are scaffolded and planned for upcoming releases. They are not yet available to connect but will appear in Settings → Integrations when ready.

  • Notion — two-way database sync to keep Notion pages and WorkWiz tasks aligned.
  • ClickUp — import tasks from ClickUp and keep statuses in sync.
  • Jira — link WorkWiz projects to Jira issues and sync status changes bidirectionally.
  • GitHub — connect issues and pull requests to WorkWiz tasks for engineering teams.
  • Figma — attach Figma files and frames to design tasks and projects.
  • QuickBooks — sync client and expense data with QuickBooks for seamless accounting.
  • Xero — export expense records and invoices directly to Xero.
  • Zoom — create and join Zoom meetings from task and project detail views.
